I have a acoustic guitar that has a gloss wood grain turquoise finish. The back is very "turquoise". The front is more dark green and even brown in some spots. I always figured it had always been like that since I got it, but I noticed the other day when I removed the pickguard (which I installed when I bought the guitar), it is the original turquoise color underneath. What could have caused this discoloration overtime? I've had about 1 1/2 years. Thanks.
