for the price you cant go wrong, I guess ...

I actually managed to get a new one off ebay for 250,- (w/ rosewood fingerboard and "scull and crossbones" tuning pegs)


let me see how it turns out ... I will keep you informed...

When I was in a band, the keyboard player had an old "beat up" Kramer electric that was garage-painted a-la Van Halen. It was ugly, but played and sounded VERY nice!

I investigated the older ones as well ...

however the new ones are neck-thru (as opposed to bolt-on)

... I figure if everything goes wrong ... it still makes for an excellent hot-rod-platform ...
