group sends in cubase 5

alright .. i know i am close to figuring this out ... but if someone can please tell me what i am doing wrong ? .. i am trying to send a whole group to an efx channel in cubse, for example .. compressing the drums,

put drums in a group folder,
create an fx track with the desired effect.

now what ? .. do i have to send each individual track to the fx track ? if so . that would defeat the purpose ..

Not sure what you mean, if you select the output of a channel to route to a group channel that is where it goes. You can choose which channels they are, however I dont think you can select more than one output per channel.
