Group of 388 questions

1) Is there going to be a big difference in sound quality if the music on the 388 is recording directly to the computer (and then burned onto cd or copied to tape) vs. buying a 2-track recorder as recommended in the manual (tascam 22-2 or 32)?
2) (this is actually a computer question) -- In the end -- does the quality of the computer sound-card make a difference? I mean.. if the sound card is a poor model, will it actually reduce the sound quality before it is copied from the computer to cd/tape?
3) I have radioshack tape head cleaner and S & R Pinch Roller Cleaner left over from the 488 days -- are these effective on the 388?

Of course the quality of the sound card matters. If it is poor quality, you might as well not have recorded on the 388 to begin with....maybe someone else will have some suggestions as to which are best.

Thanks. I will cut this post down to that one question about the pinch roller/head cleaners -- any advice on reliable ones?
