Well, after a while reading through my MSDN library, I found a small entry in there describing the problem that we were experiencing a while ago with the mass emails "getting hung in queue" on the server... MS is aware of this problem and went on to say they didn't know the exact cause, but that...and get this:
IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ON ALL SERVER VERSIONS, ALL THE TIME AND MAY START OCCURING ON SERVERS THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED, WITHOUT WARNING!
At any rate, they gave a work-around, I applied it, along with some formatting changes that I'd been wanting to include, and I sent 2 test emails without flaw...
Like I said before; Days like this make me want to kick Bill Gates square in the teeth!

When a software company releases an operating system "PATCH" and the filesize of the patch is almost as large as the original release of the OS it's patching... you know you're in trouble!
