Groove tubes GT-66

I have a chance to get a GT-66 at a very good price. I was wondering if anyone has used this mic, and could give me somewhat of an idea as to the character of it, you know, if it's a bright, dark, full or thin. I've never used or heard one of these before. The only thing I have to go on is the fact that it's built like a tank, precise machining, it's got some weight, and the shockmount is tough. All that is great, but how does it sound?

I can't seem to find out a whole lot on it(eg. Frequency Plot), since it is fairly new, post Alesis.

Any help would be great.

I own a pair of GT MD1a's. Don't know if you can do anything with this information, but I find them to be great on acoustic instruments.

i just picked up a GT66 myself... I will be trying it this weekend going into a Meek TwinQ and Yamaha AW4416 recorder...
