Groove clip driving me nuts

Still having same problem with groove clips and cant' figure it out. Scenario: Made track of 8 measures (1 whole note in each measure) with MIDI t-bone. When I loop it, the note from last measure goes seamlessly, and in time, to the 1st note and so on. I then convert it to audio to make groove clip. After insuring that clip is same measure length as original, I turn it into groove clip and stretch it. On playback there is always a millisecond bit of silence b/w last measure and back to beginning. My questions are: 1)How do I get the groove clip to sound as seamless as looping? 2) If this isn't possible can I just record the MIDI looping several consecutive time onto an audio track without the loop recording mode thinking that I want the loops stacked or put on seperate tracks (in essence disabling the loop recording function)?
Sorry for this long-winded and repeat question, but this is driving me crazy> Thanks

Just an idea (I've never converted midi loops to audio); after you convert to audio, ZOOM in on it (like a magnifying glass) and see if there is a little silence that may have been added on to the tail end of the loop, (or maybe even the beginning of the loop) in Sonar's conversion process. If so, use the split command to cut it, hi-lite and then delete the little bit of dead air. NOW convert to groove clip...
