This is a song written by me and my best friend. He came to me with the idea, and we hammered it out, and I think it turned out to be a pretty neat little song. (It is his songwriting debut) Take a listen!
Green Eyed Monster

Lol. Sounds fun. The harmony vocals sound fantastic. There's something about the piano sound that sounds kind of casio-ish. Maybe that's intentional, but I think a more realistic piano sound would be cooler.

Thanks Greg. And it really wasn't meant to sound "casio-ish", but I kind of like that fake robotic sound.

A really solid tune...never boring...intro just the right length...nice C-part....funny.

This is reminiscent of Jellyfish/and XTC. Cool beans, man.

Tell your buddy he's done well.

A personal nitpick: I think the harmonies are a little too static. I'd like to hear some more interesting movement and not just the 1 and 5.

Again, I have no idea what the term "1 and 5" means. Sorry. Lol. thanks though!

kinda out of my comfort zone, but just to say it was a nice listen. Vocal stacking is nice and tight.

Yeah, it's ok! I'd have wanted a little more space in there somewhere - seems like you're always singing :-)
Sorry, not much else to say.

Love those harmonies, Adam!
Very nice song, great hookline. Can't find anything wrong about the mix, it's balanced and full. Nice as always!

Ok? OK!? I think we can do better than that! (Rocky horror quotes aside) Yeah, I am always singing. I don't always do that, but the song was just to short for a break. Thanks though. :D

Props:
1 - 5...
If the root of your vocal is say C then the early Beatles would have had a hormony on E and G - classic 1, 3, 5 harmony as they progressed they varied that harmony relationship getting less obvious or comfortable blends and creating some gorgeous, discordant or weird vocal "ch/cords' depending on you ear.
You've selected 1 - 5 by ear because it's pleasing & reasonably easy.
Fun song, a little more TMBG than the last and a bit mid period XTC - though more Dukes of Stratosphere than XTC even.
the song & playing are very enjoyable. - there were a few opportunities to play with the harmonies - esp given the quirtkiness of the piece.
Good work mate!
Oh, And so endeth the lesson!
The last track I wrote (still incomplete) is an A, B, C, A, B, C, D, A, B, C. structure. & I have an A, A, A, B, A, A, A, B, C, D, A, C, D one too.

My harmonys aren't like that on every song. I just did that here because I liked the sound. I thought it made it sound very, old. Like something you would here on a wax cylinder or phonograph. You know? Anyway, thanks for clearing that up, and for the comment! :D
