greedy Sonar?

I was just wondering why Sonar has to be the "only" audio programing at a time. Meaning, I can't run any other audio program including Real&Win Media player, even worse, Sound Forge and Friuty Loops when Sonar is on....

Is there anyway I can work around this?

Yes, go to Options -> Audio -> Advanced. Check the box that says "Share Drivers with other Programs".

Yeah, that's how I learned how that problem was solved... Every time I used the Tool -> SoundForge command, my computer would crash!
