MONTE New member Jun 26, 2002 #6 Reminds me of an old "trick" I learned live mixing. When the guitar player steps out in front of the PA to play a solo, always turn him up more than what you think is appropriate.

Click to expand... man, i resemble that remark. that's why i try not to mix a song until a couple of days after i do the last recording. by then i will hopefully not make the last thing recorded the loudest thing in the mix.
