grado phones or?

are any of the grado phones good for checking out mixes? I would like to get something nice to just check my mixes after i have done them thru my monitors. heard alot of good about grado but are these more for home listning?

i'm not sure about the grado ones...never used 'em. But i just got a pair of Sennheiser HD280 Pro and when I put them on to listen critically to my mixes they work wonders. Low end suffers of course, but I'm not using them to EQ things. I more use them for listening for things that I need to fix (like bleeding of click tracks into the overhead mics or people shuffling that needs to be cut out).
