Ok, it's only natural to want to rant about something that smacks you upside the head in a good way.
Please, if you have a chance check these guys out... I've never had such a breakthrough as this. The speakers simply sound right. More correctly I guess would be that they don't seem to get in the way at all -the differences shine on the playback material, period.
I've been holding my tongue, being cautious. Really, It's taken me about a month for this to really sink in. :D

I sprung for the dual-8 Continuum AD -simply wanted all the headroom I could get. The single-eight 'Timepiece would likely be the more practical studio version though. Probably around $2500 in the cheap finish.

I was introduced to them over at 3db.

Personal thanks have gone to Mr. Bill Roberts. I owe him big time.

Here's some shots of my set prior to shipping from the SP shop.

Massive Master, if you see this, Bob Smith is in you neck of the woods. Have you seen or heard these?

I'll shut up now...... for a while if I can stand it. This could be tough. :D
Wayne out. :)

Adcom GFA555. I could use a bit more. The clip lights can trigger at around 95-100 spl but only on dynamic material. You know that stuff they used to make that wasn't castrated? -er. crewcut. :p
The bigger weak-link surprise was the CD player -I found out (through ripping a bunch of references into Sonar) that the RME ADI-8 kills the Sony conversion/analog. I can plainly here this now.
