I really like the color. I've seen her blonde cousin when I was downtown in Singapore. There is a guy here who only imports stateside guits. He'll throw you out of the store if you ask a dumb question like: "is this a chinese made -- ".

How would you describe the pickups?Does Carvin only offer their own pickups?

That pic makes the yellow really bright and harsh (damn flash). It's a much warmer amber than the pic indicates.

Yep me too. I might not have bought it otherwise. I've always liked these Carvin Carved Tops, but if I were ordering one, I'd go with a quilted or flamed maple top--they just look so sweet. But when I stopped by the Carvin store in San Diego and used this one to check out some amps, I fell in love with it. It's not the wood or the color hardware I'd have ordered, but whoever did order it didn't pay for it--and it was sitting there getting marked down for over a year. The maple neck closed the deal for me.
 
Oh yah...sweet baby sweet. Love the amber color...looks great with the black hardware...and the maple neck is wonderful!

Has a good tone. I already hear a new down and dirty jam coming to the mp3 clinic!

you're right true, I can't keep my hands off her! Together with the Legacy, I'm in geetar heaven. Problem is, I'm swamped with work and can't play much. In fact I'm in Dallas right now for work and I'm going nuts wishing I was home playing. Soon enough I s'pose...

Nope. This one's strictly business! Airport to hotel to office back to airport--no music stores in between!:D

Also a fan of Carvin goodz. I've got a DC400 that plays like buttah right out of the box. I'm just impressed with the quality ya get.

Looks nice! I'm a sucker for maple fretboards myself. Sounds pretty killer, too! Good playin' as always.
