I'll be using it for schooling but also for gaming (not hardcore to the max) and maybe some photoshop. What i wanna know is wether or not this system will be good enough for what im doing? thanks in advance for any help !

Build it,and they will come.

Seriously build your own PC it will be easier for you to understand it.

Then you'll know what you got, plus save movey on unnesesary things.

Funny thing i encountered,i bought a Gateway PC 4 years ago and upgraded the motherboard, but my version of windows did not want to install on the new motherboard. So i called Michrorippoff and they told me that Gateway is holding the licence to my windows,so it only can be used on Gateway motherboards. So out i went and spent another $200 for the windows XP

You say it's for schooling and gaming?

Well, it's overkill for both, frankly. Sony makes nice stuff for sure, but no nicer than you could build yourself for half as much. I agree that the best bang for the buck - BY FAR - is building the PC. It's really easy if you take a couple hours and read about basic PC construction and pick out the parts at New Egg.

You doing any recording on it?

I'd say for office apps and internet, anything more than 1 GHz and 256 MB memory is fine. For gaming, depends on the game, but you'll probably want 3 GHz and 512 MB to 1 GB of memory, and you'll need a decent video card.

I'd say about $600 - $800 will build you a sweet system on New Egg...drop another $150 on a video card and you're set.
