£500 to £1000 budget then more money going forward once in a while.

I have a decent digtial keyboard and I am spending more time on it and want to start to learning about music theory / production and singing whlst playing piano. I already created a thread asking about a suitable sound card but I think I need to take a step back and ask again because im thinking maybe we get a mac book here? with some nice adapter and the right software?

Bit more about spec of my main PC
Obsidian 650D with like a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO, the good news is I have got rid of the Xonar essence STX, I have options sliding in a firewire card or sound card.

I have a pair of RS 180 wireless headphone which i would like to change for over ear that seal the sound into my ears vs letting the nose escape, so over ear like the Rs180 but seal in the sound, under £300?

Im thinking about sliding my couch over to back face the window and bring the keyboard over to my right of main desk, or even create an L to my desk seating position. Im open to suggestions about a nice path going forward for hardware.

budget of £500 / or £1000 what do you get first to start of a music studio and why?

Music wise I like Alecia keys, hendrix, classical, im a bit daft like im learning Chopin Ballade No.1 - 20 minutes a day (im about 1min30seconds in since june learning it) but I have not even mastered one octive scales yet.

Im happy to buy second hand on ebay if saving big bucks to help get some good addtions, ie: second hand mac?

Id like a path to a decent studio set up vs getting every thing in one go and spending £10k, more like £250 there, £500 there, etc

What do we get first here to start things off so im connected to my main pc or do we forget about the pc and get a mac laptop only?

You posted this in the wrong section (try the newbies section of the forum) - thi sis about BUILDING a studio.

You'll need a microphone, monitors (speakers), a DAW (recording software) to start out with. Read a lot before buying anything.
