I already have the naturally decaying bass guitar I found on Hammersound.net. Would I be better off looking for cheap payware than freeware?

Download Yellow Tools Independence free. It's a big download, but the basses are incredible and include a nice collection of slides as well as an amp modeling effect. Below is a clip I made using it.

Interesting you mention that. I downloaded that 2 days ago, but never got to installing everything. Yeah, I tried the bass last night, excellent 
. I think I'd eventually get an electric bass...the bigger problem is piano (I don't have the space or $), but there are plenty of very inexpensive options for piano.
