Good Soundcard to get?

Im gonna do some mixing on my computer, but I need a soundcard. Now, I have a really shitty computer so I dont know if its a good idea. I have this:

Windows 98
Compaq Presario 5062
ViewSonic LCD Screen
Beghringer monitors


However I need a soundcard so I can hook up my Tascam 424MkIII into my computer and use maybe Cool Edit Pro to do some mixing.

I have a delta 66 and am loving it. I only have had it a week, but my sound quality has gone off the charts compared to using the one that came in my computer.
