Good deal on M-Audio Audiophile 2496

Can you believe it? www.newegg.com carries these...and they're the best prices around. Their price is $140 for the retail version, and if you order their free paper weight, they'll take an additional $11 off! That's $129 for this thing. Don't need one myself, but I just thought I'd give a little heads up to all you guys who've helped me out so much.

I got my monitor from Buy.com four years ago like that -- they accidentally listed it about $100 cheaper than anywhere else... a day or two after I ordereed it I noticed it was more like everywhere else...

To answer both your questions...I don't know. But I know that newegg is a trustworthy dealer with very happy customers. I purchased my whole system (excluding the sound card) from them with very good results.

i gave 140 for my first 410 and 110 for my second at newegg, they sold out the next day after i posted the link here and the new price was 199 when it was in stock a few weeks later, sheesh, resellers...

you need watch there site frequently, heh, must be PMS with all the "price swings"...

can't beat there service though...
