I need a powerful, fast, and dependable PC.

Ill be hooking up my DigiDesign 002? to the PC, and running my synth and so on into the computer.

Also, if anybody has a flatscreen they wanna get rid of!

Good to see you again. Are you looking to buy one here, replace an older CPU or get a whole new system?

If it's a new system, build one from scratch. There's lots of info in this forum about that. I've chimed in on a few in just the past week that you might want to check out :)

Get a whole new one.

I have one in the house, but I want my own because Im 15 with 2 brothers and sisters. Plus, I might be able to build a small room for my keyboards & stuff to go in. Ill probably build the walls with acoustic designs, hopefully the ceiling and doors also.

But yeah, Ill look around for info on building my own PC, thanks.

Cool, glad to hear it. Again there's lots of info here about what kind of machines people use for recording. Here's a brief rundown of what I just built

P4 1.8
512 DDR (PC2100) memory
80 GB 7200 RPM HDD (ATA 100)
24.10.40 CD-RW
Delta 1010 PCI interface
Sonar (software)

It wasn't too expensive to put together since I had a monitor and other stuff already and the system fit right into our existing studio. Good luck and ask whatever you'd like :)
