Thought I would pass this along for those who have made the jump to version 4. I picked up the Sonar 4 Ignite book today and it gets a major thumbs up from this reader. In fact, I would go so far as to say it's the best book on Sonar I have read and I have most of them going back to Sonar 1.
The book covers the Sonitus plug ins, something Cakewalk forgot to do in their Sonar 4 manual. It also has some great tips on managing your projects as well as a complete section on setting up a tracking session with buss routing and headphone submix. I have not seen anyone cover headphone routing before so this is why I am rating the book so highly.
The author is Brian Smithers and he does a great job of getting right to some of the deepest features of the product. Enjoy.
