I've read that these are made in China and are tweaked by Golden Age in Sweden.

Anyone know what they do to tweak them?

Anyone have experience with them?

Thanks.....Lee.

I have one.
It's basically the same as the Nady RSM8 A but with an RSM 2 screen.
It is by far, my best ribbon.
I bought it here.... http://www.recording-microphones.co.uk/Budget-ribbon-microphone.shtml
Some of the others here can tell you what exactly they change in the mic to improve the sound. Transformer or capacitor, something like that. I don't know which is which but the fact is that with the Golden age, noise is not an issue whereas with my other ribbons have much more hiss to contend with.
The sound quality is exactly what I look for in a ribbon too.

Thanks for the input Jim. I see by your avatar that you have the active ribbon.
