I wanted to know was there any difference or benifit in going to a 4 year college for recording school or a tech-type, intern studio school ?how can I find out more info??

Good question. There are certain benefits in
going to a school to learn the basics of recording but IMHO actual hands on application and experience is the best teacher. There is an excellent article on the pro's and con's of going to an accredited
