just checking if there are any fellow godin owners out there?

best electric clean i've ever heard and that is through my marshall DSL... so it must be one great guitar! but everything else is great too...

I have an LGX......... it is a TONE-MACHINE - pure and simple - I absolutely love it!

Had an acousticaster for awhile, sounded great amplified and had perfect action but it was too unbalanced weight-wise. If you didn't velcro the strap to your clothing the neck heads for the floor when you let go of it. Maybe the newer ones are better.
 
LGX-SA myself.
Never thought my synth would track so well.
And I second Bruce - the tone palette is endless.

No they're hand made in Canada, it's the same group of people who make Seagull acoustics... the guitars are incredible, I got rid of my The Paul for my Godin, and although I loved my Gibson the Godin is so much more versitle, I will never sell it, even if it means having nowhere to live!
 
I actually just bought my LGX about 3 weeks ago and I love it. I've been lucky with gear this year. All canadian made gear to0 :-)
The only problem I have with it is that the finish shows alot of streaks..you have to clean it alot..but thats not really a serious thing, or is it?!

Well... if you play the instrument and touch the body, for sure you'll get fingerprints on it -- sweat too, if you play hard enough! ;)

I tend to wipe down my strings and body after a session or show, so I haven't noticed excessive streaking........ it shines up real purdy when I polish it!!!
