me again...

i have tried everything in my power in cakewalk to get a different kit... but all i always get is the standard kit.

the way i see it.. i put my drum pattern on channel 10 then i should be able to choose (from the patches) more drumkits, but is just always the same thing.

standard kit.

damn... why cant i get for e.g the power kit (should be patch 17) or what...

is it maybe because of my outports or something...because its making me insane *breaks down in tears*

appreciate if someone could help me

Templar,
What kind of card are ya using? SBLive? You may have to go to Options/MIDI devices and make sure that the correct synth is activated to get to all the kits. For example, when I use midi drums, I'm running two different cards and have to disable one to force PA9 to use the kits I want. Just a hunch.

i use the awe64 - but it doesnt seem to work

the differnt ports(outputs?) i have r - wavesynth, creative synth,
soundfont, midi mapper, midi out ... and i cant remember the rest

by the way are these different soundmodules inside the sound card or what are they used for.

should i load the 2mggm.sf2 soundfont for these drums to work... im a bit confused about how this all fits together

could someone help?

Sorry, this may be a bit of the topic, but I have some great experiences programming my drums in fruityloops and exporting them into Cakewalk. They are much more controlable than midi drums and sound much better, with the right samples off course...

Greetings

Brett
