Glassjaw techniques?

Does Glassjaw use dynamic mics to mic their guitar cabs? And also, does Daryl Palumbo from Glassjaw use dynamic mics for his vocals? If so...does anyone know what kind of mics? For you people who dont know the band glassjaw, its the same singer in Head Automatica that sings for glassjaw.

Ross Robinson likes to use a combination of dynamic mics (MD421 seems to be his favorite), condensers (often a U87) and ribbon mics (the Royer R121) simultaneously.

The ribbon and dynamic are right up on the speaker, and the condenser is about 6' back.

At least according to an article I read.
