gk-2ah pickup

hey guitar dudes,
question, if you get a roland gk-2ah pickup and something like a
boss wp-20g wave processor that takes the 13-pin input, do you have to have any other stuff to play with these toys?

Well, you need the guitar to connect the GK-2A to...

Seriously, it appears all you would need is something to plug the Boss unit into (amp, line mixer, etc.) to hear it.
IMHO, I'd go for something a little more robust and fun to play with like an actual guitar synth (Roland GR-50, 33, 09). The Boss unit seems rather limited (but a fun toy).

I've got a GR-50, with a Godin LGX-SA, and the possibilities are endless...

Wish I could stop farting around with the patches and record something though.

I might have to hold out for more money. But I kind of agree with you after more research. Oh yeh, I do have the guitar and the other stuff, ha. I have been mulling over the idea of a new processor or the roland. It's all a matter of time and bucks.
