give me some real help

I have been attempting to record a file through Cubase LE4 and now that I figured that out, I want to take it, master it, and burn it to a CD. Is there someone out there that could decode it in English (not too tech savvy) and help me to put tracks on a disc. I would appreciate it. My previous posts did nothing to assist me with any of the issues and I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

Also, is there a way through Cubase that through a USB microphone I could lay down some vocals.
 
This is a little vague. What do you mean "record a file through Cubase LE4"? Does that mean you have used Cubase to record some audio? Have you figured out how to mix your project to a finished audio file? Many media player programs, e.g. iTunes and Windows Media Player, can burn CDs from a playlist.

You should be able to select your USB mic from a list of inputs in your DAW, but USB mics are not good for music production.
 
The mixing/master stage is a lifetime worth of learning. I've been doing this for years and I suck at it. I don't have a room I can dedicate and treat the way it should be so i'm always mixing with a handicap. There is no easy answer, no one will beable to answer that question for you.

As far as exporting what you have created you hit export on the file menu. Export to a stereo wave at 44,100 and you should beable to create an audio cd with a program like iTunes.
 
I'm gonna assume that you want to make an audio CD?

The audio CD format is fairly well documented.

2 channels
16 bit
44.1kHz sampling rate
Big Endian byte order
Trimmed to full seconds or 1/75th of a second (It's an optical disc thing)

Most burning software takes care of most of that (except the trimming) for you. Leaving you with two choices. tao (with 2 second pause between tracks) or dao (no pause between tracks).
 
If you could provide a bit more info, I think you would get more advice.
As mentioned there are lots of free programs that will burn CDs, depending on whether you use Mac or PC, do a search, and you'll find one.

Mastering is no easy task, as someone mentioned, there are software programs that can get you in the ballpark, but if you really want it mastered, hire a mastering engineer, they have the ears, the room, equipment and ability to really give you a polished product.
Take a look at Harbal, or Ozone if you decide to do it yourself.

I operate on a laptop with Windows Vista installed. I have already recorded a song on Cubase LE4. I do not know where to go to mix it properly and then export the file to Windows Media Player so I can record a cd. I am still new to this recording thing, and if I could do this, than I could produce my own cd.
 
You mix in Cubase. You can set the levels of individual tracks, add inserts (compression, reverb etc..), EQ etc... Then you export it to a wav file. Windows media player can play wave files.

Again the mixing is something that probably take you years to master.
