Give me some feedback on my "love song"

just letting ye know there is a little glitch at the beginning before any music starts...

as for the song:
were the drums a machine or actual? they were very "in sync" which definately is not a bad thing, i'm just wondering. That is a low voice. I like the piano bits in there. The mix is done well. I noticed that some of the lead vocals are a bit out of pitch, maybe throw an autotuner on there or do some more takes. It is pretty close, that is just a minor complaint.

In the immortal words of Neo: Whoa.

Dude, this is like Flaming Lips meets The Cure meets They Might Be Giants.

As a song, I really, really like.

As a non-fat frozen yogurt or battery-powered spatula, it needs some work.

Rock on,

production is totally awesome. how long you been recording? i wish i could record like that.

i love the piano and the vocals sound very good, i really like the sound of your voice. got that deep rock tone.

im interested to know what instruments and stuff you recorded this with.

is the drums real? they sound kindda like they're samples but i can't tell for sure. either way, you have some nice fills in there.

overall mixing is really impressive, i can heard everything.

like i said, i really wish i could produce something like this.

song is alright, it's catchy, and i tihnk i could grow to like it.

thanks for sharing.

as a side note...

i also listened to "nowhere".

yeah it looks like you've been doing this stuff for a long time. everything is so professional sounding.

i'm envious!

Hey Piltdown, will you just quit?;) People like you make the rest of us want to give up posting here. Excellent - I particularly liked the piano. If you tell me those drms are real I'll fall off my chair.

God there's been some good stuff in here recently.

[Edited to say I'm listening to Butterfly Kisses as I write. You have some very interesting ideas, gonna listen to all of your stuff over the next few days.]

I loved the rythmn section, great blending of a lot of different instruments, very lush, well balanced.

One niggle, and it could be the system I'm listening on - I think the vocal would stand out more if you brought the backing instruments down a touch (very slightly) once the vocal starts, them let them swell back up for other parts of the song.
