Gig ready? black/death opinions wanted.

Excellent morning to all.

We're supposed to have a gig sometime in april, and from it's success would depend a small tour. That's what they say anyway..
Ofcourse were bloody nervous, since it would be the bands first gig ever..

Blues/rock/prog-fellows shouldn't waste time in this. This is MEANT to be murder.

This is recorded 15. day (yesterday) from rehealsalplace live (a 10x10feet closet), through a 16-track mackie, no monitors. So it can't get much worse at any venue..

So, how bad we suck?.. What should be better? It's a shorter set than at the gig.. Would you be warmed by this as an opening act??

Make sure in the gig you hear the double bass drum. Is the thing that is gonna blow the people! In fact, If I'd have the money, I'll buy a trigger system for live performances so the bass drum and the snare sounds terrific.

About the music, is pretty raw black metal with some death touches. Not my fav style but I like it. By the way, make sure you go early to the gig so you can test the equipment and try to make a sound proof. Believe, is the best thing you can do.

PS: never, never, never ever fight with the sound guy. He's the key to succed or to suck eggs so treat him the best you can. Good luck.

that 2nd song kicks ass. you guys sound pretty good, but the mix is kinda raw, no bass and the kick is kinda lost. but it sounds like a killer show to see. with you the best. anyway i'm still listening, this is some pretty good shit, keep it up!

what's the name of the band?

The band is called Coprolith.
The lack of bass and kicks are prolly my fault (And I'm the bassist! )
Just ripped the tracks from recorder pretty tired last night.. And the dude behind the mixer said he'd taken out a lot of the bottom end from consuming energy!?.... What KillthePixel said?... I DID offer beer!!

well in such a small room, i'm sure the bass sounded pretty loud in there, it just didn't show up on the recording. anyway, after listening to the whole hting, you guys sound like a pretty good band. hope everything goes well for you, i'll keep an eye out for you guys.
