Tadpui Well-known member Sep 10, 2014 #8 Thank goodness they're finally raising prices! Last year's models were so undervalued Honestly though, I love my Gibson. It's been a friend indeed for many years now. But goddamn I'm glad that I don't have to replace it anytime soon.

I have a couple relatively modern Gibsons that I really enjoy, I don't feel like I overpaid for them, but I'll be damned if I'd pay 25% more.

jimistone long standing member Sep 12, 2014 #10 I had a less Paul studio with Seymore Duncan 1959 PAF clones. I sold it to a close friend for $500 (same price I paid for it). He said he would sell it back to me for the same $500 of I ever wanted it back. Might not be a bad idea to buy it back with price hikes on new ones.
