Just tried some on my Tele and although I expected to hear nothing different, they actually do sound really good! They aren't smooth to the touch like Ernies or Gibson Brite Wires but you can really get into them.

Just wanted to share cos I know they're a bit of a forum favourite.

I've been using the 10's for years. My fav. On acoustic guitars the Bright Bronze acoustic strings stay brighter longer than any string I've tried.

GHS Boomer Medium 11-50 user for a good 2 years now. Always experimented with the TNT, CL, and Lights before that. Great stuff!

Definately the toughest strings Ive ever used. I use em for both guitar and bass.

I picked up some GHS boomers bass strings for $13.oo at Wall-Mart.

Boomers are definitely my favorite. They last so much longer and sound so much better (to me, at any rate) than any other strings I've played. I've been looking for some good acoustic strings, so I might try their bronze set.

I can always get two gigs out of my 11-46 Boomers, and sometimes I'll go for three, but it's a little dicey. No other string I've ever tried can do three gigs, or sound any better.

I hear you. After two to three gigs, it doesn't matter what I had on. I have to change.

I used to use GHS, I really like their tone, but they would always break on me, so I had to find something that held up better, Dean Markley's did the trick.

I restring for every gig...I like the new string feel and tone.

4 of 7 are tricked out with Boomers. Love 'em, always have, always will. The Elixir Baritones are pretty cool too though.

Well, Boomers are my best selling electric strings, though Slinkies have been giving them a run for the money lately.

I use D'Addarios, but that is just because I really like their eviromentally frendly packaging, and I can't hear much of a difference between good quality strings.

I've pretty much always used medium or medium-light boomers for bass. I usually have ask the local stores to special order the Long Scale Plus length for my old ampeg 4-string.

I also really like Gibson Brite Wires, but I don't know many other places that stock them so I'm never sure whether it's just me. They're the biggest selling strings at my shop now, with Ernies just behind. No-one over here wants Boomers, the ones I've been trying were a load that have been on the wall for 12 months and finally had to come home with me instead!!!

Boomer's on all three of mine.

I bought some Elixir's, and the jury is still out on them, though I think I like my boomers better.... the stock Ibanez pickup may not be doing them justice though.
I have a new dimarzio pup waiting to be put in, but I just put those damned expensive strings on!

No sh*t? Wal-Mart? Back in the day, I used to have to pay over $30 for those!
