Let us be unburdened by that which has been ?
Ghost, if you are, and all of the other valuable inputers that helped me understand and talked me through my first 'final' mix on 'Wild-Eyed Jim's' last year, I have a question...put it up in The Rack, but wanting other opinions. My budget is $200 ish, looking for a better reverb quality/tone (NOT features, but the SOUND of the effect) to replace my MidiVerb IV. Not that the Alesis is so terrible for what I use it for, but I will keep it as a secondary for other supplemental effects. What, in your opinion, in this price range, used or new, would be my best option for nice reverb tone....the tone of the effect itself and ability to be used in parallel in my humble setup.
Thanks for any advice you or others may be willing to offer.
Dale

p.s.--sorry for posting here, but I trust this spot and what I was told when I posted last year as no BS, straight up stuff, understanding my gear and experience limitations.

Agreed...the Ghost IS good.

SoR,

I'm not really up on the latest new reverbs on the market currently as I am still very happy with my Yamaha REV-500 that I picked up a few years back at this point. If you can find one of those on Ebay, used, in your price range, I would confidently recommend it as a good sounding processor that sounds fine on its presets and better still if you dive into all the adjustable parameters.

I thought you had a link to some music. :o

Good luck with your sound and let me know when some fresh stuff is up here to listen to.

Cheers! :)
