newbie question...

I foolishly ignored the advice of the guy who sold me my recording equipment last week to put a pop filter in front of my mic when recording vocals...

that being said ;) .....

I have some vocals of a friend who unfortunately, was passing through town when she cut them, so... I can't re-record them any time soon...

how do I get rid of the pops? or can I? I'm using Cubase VST/32...

Thanks!

Yo Jimmy with legs for 2:

I remember reading some posts here that mentioned fiddling with eq on the vocalist's tracks....this might help.

I work with a female vocalist who tends to "blast" out a phrase now and then; I don't have your gear, but I managed to subdue her blasting a bit by using a compression program on my unit.

I'm sure Blue Bear or Sonusman, or Tex of Moribund road meat can give you more help on this one.

Green Hornet:D :p :p :p
