I have Home studio 4. The online Karaoke site (Singshot) allows you to sing along with prerecorded tracks with a microphone. the audio applet on the site works using Flash, and the control panel allows you to select your microphone through a series of mic setup tests. Setting this up is pretty basic, but what I want to do is add some effects to my voice like compression and reverb, Etc. and have my processed vocals pass through to the singshot site and be recorded. others on the site use external mixers to achieve the same result, but I know there has to be a way to accomplish this through Sonar 4. I am also sure there is a way to have the backround vocals from the singshot site pass through Home studio and back out to the site, thereby instead of just recording from the mic input, the full background track and vocals would be recorded. I noticed that there is an option on the singshot applet to select my soundcard instead of the mic. I have been rolling this around my head at work, i am wondering if I change my audio control panel (recording control)selector to enable "wave out mix" instead of selecting the "mic" in recording control, if that wouldnt send the entire mix back out to the site. Thanks for your suggestions. (singshot is a horrible name I know, sorry)
