Hey im brand new here and i'm curious about this

Ive been recording my band on a Korg D888 for a while and been getting decent sounding recordings out of it
But i want to start doing overdubs and dumping the files into my pro tools rig to do further editing and playing around
The recordings are consistantly out of time (drummer not having the best internal tempo)
I am wondering how the best route for getting the whole band to be able to be able to hear the same click while still playing together as we usually record all at once
The D888 has a click built in but only 2 headphones out ,would a headphone amp with more outs be the bets route or is there an easier way i can go about this?

I think headphone amp would be easiest solution to your problem. Also force the drummer practice with metronome. :)

Question back to you - why don't you record directly to protools?

Right now i only have a old mbox with only 2 inputs and the D888 can be taken anywhere

Without a shadow of a doubt. I bought an 8 input headphone splitter back in '92. Still have it, still use it and it solves every problem when there are more than one person recording.
Also force the drummer practice with metronome.
This, however, is your major bete noir and a situation that has to be sorted because it's going to lead to blows one day when one of you comes up with a magnum opus that demands solid timing or changes and the drummer's lack of timing limits what could be priceless.

If you ever plan on performing these songs live and need a clicktrack for them, consider investing in an in-ear monitor system.

I have a furman ha-6a that is quite nice. 6 outs - plenty of output level on each. Bonus - two sets of speaker terminals with an integrated amp. Nice for a/b ing on cheap speakers....

Does anybody have experiance or know anything about the Behringer Microamp HA400 Headphone Amplifier?
Its super affordable

For the price just buy it and try it, how do you build and sell something like this for under $25?

I know that every time I walk into my largest music store in the CBD of the largest city in Australia and try to buy one they're out of stock, and so I walk out and don't buy anything else there either. It's sort of a test...

It will work fine... as witz says, what's to lose?
