Getting certain midi instruments to work on Cubase 6 Elelments trial

New member
All was working well at first, but now I cannot get Halcion instruments to play any audible output. Under devices, I am now missing 2 of 4 ports, these being simulated port 1 and simulated port 2. How do I reconnect these?
 
I seem to have connected these again, but the IL Drumexx doesn't seem to give output
