Getting an 80's drum machine sound live, like OMD, Depeche Mode?

Just curious if anyone knows how to get a good OMD, Depeche Mode type of 80's drum machine sound in a live format. What do they use? Is there some recent machine that has those good sounds?

I found this video on youtube of some band opening for OMD and watching them I can't tell what hes using for drums and what are they using for that high hat? Looks like the hi hat and drum fills might be a machine, but the kick and snare are played live on a drum pad? Drum triggers would probably yield you the best sound.
