Help me please.. I currently use a BR-8 digital recording studio. I love how simple it is to operate.

** How do I get stated with mastering use my PC & what software might you recommend.

* What "simple" book could I get to explain some of this. I'm not much of a computer guy. Help>

I mean basics like what plugs in to what hole & so forth.

Get a good soundcard. I have a Event Darla 24 which worked really well with my Sony MD 4 track. 2 1/4 " ins, 8 1/4" outs.
I like Wavelab 3.0 for mastering.
SoundForge is another good WAV editor.

There are tons of effect plug ins. I like WAVES or TC Essentials personaly.

Also get some sort of midi interface. That way you can use your Br8 as a master. Midiman sells a USB interface that cost's about $70 called the MidimanX2.
