So my friend asked me to cover/record the R&B song "Beautiful Creation" but I decided to take a different approach to this by rewriting the instrumental, tell me what you think!

Hey, nice song!
I think the switch to an acoustic song turned out really well.(Although I'm personally not an R&B fan so you could have changed it into a country song and i would have liked it better than the original)
BUT....
I think it would benifit with a fuller sound later on in the track. Maybe some sort of percussion?... (I've always wanted to put a djembe, or cajon in a track xD)
I feel you create a good build up the choruses when you throw in the crash swells but when the actual chorus kicks in there just feels like somethings missing..

Oh thank you! Yeah R&B isn't really my thing either, hence the rewriting of the instrumental haha. And I did contemplate putting some percussion in but I don't have any instruments other than guitars, and I feel that a software percussive instrument would make the song less "real". But if I did have the instruments I would've added a cajon in the mix. But thank you for your input!
