General question

Ok, now I have a very general question. I'm trying to find people in the Dallas, Texas area to jam with (so to speak). The issue is nobody that I know of around here wants to play country. I have very eclectic tastes in music, I like everything from Hank Williams to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Nirvana to Garth Brooks to Metallica, but my primary preference is country. Any advice on finding individuals with those same tastes to jam with?

I think a lot of us find ourselves in the same boat. I am currently working on a collaboration with a few af the folks on this board. I'm having a lot of fun doing it.....maybe something you would want to check into.

You should randomly walk around the streets and ask people if they want to jam. Im sure if you ask a few hundred thousand people then you should find someone. Country is another topic in itself. I have to say that real country music is almost dead. I know a lot people who would like to listen to country but what they hear on the radio is so absolutely fucking horrible that they just listen to classic rock instead.
