Gemini 241 Double Bass Drum Pedal

It is most likely well made, but this has been tryed before. No matter what the design, there is no way to generate any power with these things. You won't get your drum to sound good (unless you trigger) and it is murder on your calf, shin, and ankle.
 
It works by hitting one normally, and the other is powered by using your heel. If you look closely, it's 2 pedals in one, one under your heel and other under the ball of your foot.
 
I've seen 2 or 3 versions of this style. Another I saw played the second beater when you release your toe off. In the article (Modern Drummer, I cant remember the issue though) it said it was great, no problems with them. Also it was said that in only a few short sessions you were playing as good if not better than you were with the conventional two pedals. So its a personal choice. If you could, see if a local drum shop has one and try it out. It would be pretty cool the flam 32's you could eventually be able to do if you had two of these pedals.

That must be the Dualist - which is also available for play with both feet as a combo to triple pedals.......

Yea thats the ticket. Interesting ideas out now, I'm still for two bass drums.
