Gary Moore sound?

What if any pedal will emulate the kind of sound that the blues man has, with a nice hold etc?

I know he was a big user of the Boss Heavy Metal pedal for several years. Might still be, I'm not sure.

I believe that Mr. Moore uses Peter Green's 1959 Les Paul Standard to record with.

Unfortunately, the very talented researchers at Boss have yet to capture it's essence.

Just play and let it all out - it will be you, and that's what is important.

I think Windoman is mistaken. I've followed GM for years and even in his metal days, he didn't use a Boss Heavy Metal pedal. He DID use Boss Distortions (with single coil strats) and vaious Ibanez Tube Screamers. More recently, he's used some Marshall pedals.
