I like my 8*24. The MIDI works just as well as my USB device.
The only problems I ever had were the stupid ASIO drivers but after a few updates and some settings tweaks I got down to an 11ms audio latency.
Not perfect (what is?) but the drivers have "plug in delay compensation" and that helped my audio timming.
Good experience for the money.....
thats more than I can say for my PC.
(still wish I could have gone with the MOTU or the RME Hammerfall)
