I downloaded Antares, 10-day, fully functional Auto-Tune 3 but since then, my Cubase 5.0 has been crashing without warning (By the way, Auto-Tune is not as real time as I had hoped for. There was virtualy no taxation on the CPU with 27 tracks of audio but the plug-in did not function very well. You may say, it's a demo but Antares gaurantees it's a fully functional plug-in for 10 days (whatever) Anyway, I'm running a Mac, G4 533 coupled with Gina 24/96 and have had no problems with Cubase up until I downloaded Auto-Tune. For example, if I were to open up any song at random, select an effect (doesn't have to be the Auto-Tune demo) for any single track, Cubase 5.0 sometimes will crash (without crashing the Mac O.S. 9.1). Only when I restart Cubase will an error message occur saying, whatever effect I chose, could not function for one reason or another... blah, blah, blah, therefore I'm a little reluctant to use any effects. However, after restarting Cubase after the error, I can then choose any effect I desire...Oh yeah, this may seem like a dumb question but should I dump the plug-in, Antares Auto-Tune???...plus, I recently discovered a web-site that contained hundreds of free Acidized, Recycle, etc formatted loops that I could import into Cubase. I'm not really big into factory loops...in fact, if I had more patience when writting melodies, I would create most myself... However, I'm keen on the potential for added ambience, background filler, added tension or breath....BUT??? Does anyone reccomend downloading free loops, patches??? What's the worst case scenario?

Just getting the low down on down loads...
