Anybody have any experience with these.
Made in Korea, etc, etc. Much cheaper than regular G&Ls
They look nice, and Ive read decent reviews.
but.....
most budget lines are very "get what you pay for" with few exceptions....

I don't have experience with the Tribute bass, but the guitars I've tried have been great bang for the buck.

Yeah...I just got through reading all the Harmony Central sections on the Tribute stuff, and it really does sound like a great deal.....

...I'm just very wary....

...so wary...it's scary....

I bought one for my kids. It's a solid bass and has decent electronics.

We had the nut replaced with bone and the neck adjusted a bit, and it plays pretty well. Plastic nuts aren't a good idea on any bass IMHO.

I got a Tribute L2K in April, and it is now my main bass, replacing a Precision with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound and a Carvin with DiMarzios.

It is beautifully built, and mine is quiet. The earlier ones had scratchy pots, but apparently that's been rectified.

Mine is natural ash with a maple fb. The fb is finished in satin, and there's no glare under stage lights. I put Brite Flats on it and bought a hard case for it and it gets used 4 nights a week. A great bass and a great bargain.

I gig with it and a Fender 51 Precision Reissue. Between the two, I can cover anything...

OK, maybe not Flea (or whatever his name is).
