Not Just Anutha Brutha
Reverting back to my old gear addiction ways, I picked 1 up from Sam Ash this past Friday to go with my DMP,Grace,Presonus and the TPS. Or, in other words, money is no longer safe and secure
when it's in my pockets as my addiction is slowly crawling back!!!
.
N-e way the TPSII is a slight step up from the TPS,yet not on par with the DMP or the Grace. The only diff bet the TPS and TPSII is the adjustable input ohm control. The variable voicing control allows for adj'ing "warmth" thru it's presets however, noticeable audio artifacts are sometimes present when using the OPL presets which s'posedly gives a "briteness"to the signal.
More than adequate for bass and keys and some rhythm git work
but yields average perf on vocs with a slight dropoff in the mids.
Unit is also equipped with a "phase" switch" which actually works
when double mic'ing an acoustic (or in my case an git amp).
Hey, for $99, it's a more than serviceable & adequate unit to add to your pre arsenal!
Just my .0000000000000000001 cents worth.
Peace
