Fuzzing noise

Hey all,

I was working with cakewalk sonar 3, today with my new set up and i didnt have any problems. But when i came to around 4 audio tracks put in, It seemed to get a little distorted, not just the 4th track, but every track. Their isnt any problem with the tracks themselves, they are perfectly clear. but when i went to play them all, i got a distorion.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like you're overloading the stereo mix buss. What do the mains meters look like?

I have like the 3 of them routed to one bus. All the meters are looking fine

Maybe your latency is set a tad too low? (Only a suggestion, sound strange when using only four tracks, however background application may eat your CPU-power)

im pretty new to the terms for things that im using lol, what exactly is latency?
