"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
I finally decided I needed an amp with a little more power and a proper effects loop, so I need to get rid of my Vox Night Train. It's in great condition (I'll post pictures a little later) and is a versatile little luchbox. The cleans are nice and sparkly, which I rather liked (especially with my Gibson) and you can get a fair amount of crunch out of it, too (again, better suited for Gibsons, in my opinion). Maybe not quite enough for the extreme metalheads, but enough to do a bit of metal every now and then. It also gives a great classic rock tone when not driven as hard. Includes a carrying bag, polishing cloth, power cord, and a speaker cable.
About the mods: Like I said, I wanted an effects loop, so I sent it away to be modified. The effects loop isn't quite what I was expecting; it's functional, but you have to turn the send knob down in order to send an appropriate level to the pedals so they don't clip, which cuts the overall volume of the amp. The effects loop is completely bypassed when nothing is plugged in, though, so if you don't need one, it doesn't get in your way. I also had him do the regular set of mods he does which smooth out the amp a bit, eliminating the fizziness many people complain about with the amp. It also enhances the feel a bit.
I'm looking for $425 + shipping ($30 anywhere in the continental US, unless you live in the Northern VA area and want to pick it up). You could probably find another used one for about $50 cheaper, but there's nearly $200 worth of mods in mine, so... I think it's a fair price.
