I do think its funny that I tried selling an SM81 on here a while back, and got absolutely reemed over why I could possibly ever want to sell the thing... and everyone is telling you its simply a great mic Good luck with the sale though, ebay usually yields better prices than the forums, but its nice to give friends first-crack.

it's certainly a nice mic...but i ran into a good price for a pair of Peluso CEMC6s. so i don't think i need 81s anymore. and they have such a good resale value ($270 on ebay without a case, still 4 hours to go), i couldn't resist replenishing the space in my bank account that the Pelusos created.
