Yeah....for $7000, that's going to go fast on a home rec forum. :D ;)

Nice converter though!

Can't hurt to post it wherever I can. :) I put the price at $7000 because these are like $9000 to $10000 new depending on where you get it and since I've only lightly used it its still has a long life ahead of it. If you take care of it and don't let it overheat its like a computer lasts a long time. It's $7000 about 2/3 of the full price or best offer.

Yeah its a nice converter. I tested it alongside 3 other converters when I first bought it. I tested it against a Weiss, Burl, and a Cranesong converter. I ended up getting the Prism Dream AD-2 because I didn't hear coloration and it sounded the best to my ears. The other thing I loved about it was all the connectors on the back. Far superior to all the rest. So many ways to input and output the signals.

I initially bought the Weiss unit without testing it besides other converters. When that had problems with my Lynx Two Soundcard I had to try another converter. That's when I ended up doing the comparisons. The Prism not only had no issues with my soundcard but was decidedly better than the Weiss unit with both conversion and connector options. It didn't color my sound (alter it) in any audible way, just did what I wanted it to, convert.

I'm only selling it now because I'm not recording as much and I need the money. It's not being used and it's only seen light usage from my own personal recordings. More details on my listing. It works perfectly fine and it has one little scratch on the right side from a slipped screw when mounting. Aside from that I take really good care of my equipment and run it through a Furman power conditioner and power surge protector so its been babied. I also rack it as you see in the pictures with lots of room for ventilation and away from other units.
